Marketing Inversion

Marketing Inversion is a new era of attracting customers towards product/services by providing them sheer amount of data. Usually, marketing is to sell product to customers but marketing inversion about making sure that the customers find what they want in aspects of products and services. Marketing inversion works based on three cases. In First, Marketer helps to find the customers products but he doesn’t force them to buy it. So, customer decides whether to buy or not. Second, Customer has already know what to buy and done prior research about the product like reading reviews, price comparisons, etc. Finally, customer know what he want and it’s the matter of where, when and how to buy the product. In the past, marketer has to go to customer but now, marketer makes the customer to come for the product.

E-commerce works based on Marketing Inversion by providing enough availability of resources to let the customers decide what they want. Customer has already know what he wants so, he spend an instant looking for the desired product and buys it. But, if customer finds something better than he wanted, he is gone. E-Commerce marketers considers ‘Marketing Inversion’ is an important issue because of these kind of reasons. Marketing is always shrinking windows of opportunity to sell the product. So, it’s all about velocity and it works only when the product or service has to be there when the customer is ready to buy.
